With many of us making resolutions to get healthy this year, let’s not forget to get the kids involved in those, as well.
One great way to get you on the right path to a healthier lifestyle is to simply get moving! Just hop off of the couch and start walking- it's easy to do and free!
For the kids, a GeoPalz pedometer is a fun and motivating tool to help keep track of their daily steps. It can be worn on their hip or on the front of a shoe. The kids can log in their steps online and earn rewards!

My son’s preschool, Jeffersontown Christian, sent home a flier about the church’s December services, and I began tinkering with the idea of visiting with my children during the holiday season. A few days later at preschool drop-off, Miss Jennifer said to me, “I read your article in Today’s Family. You and I need to have lunch and talk.
