What to Tell Your Teen About Dating

Dating began at age 16 in our home. I reasoned that at 16, I could discuss in detail the facts of life, the consequences of their choices, and their accountability for the choices that they would make.

...levels of intimacy for which they were not yet prepared. Our conversations helped them properly process mature topics with accurate information that allowed them to make sound decisions.
 
I thought I was strict about dating until my eldest daughter’s date arrived for their first date with his parents in the back seat. They accompanied them on every date that year.
