Thanksgiving Table Ideas & Printables!

We've gathered some great ideas for you to use when styling your Thanksgiving table this year.  Your guests will be picking their jaws up off the floor when they see the beautiful things you've created!

Set the scene with an easy DIY banner that says it all- GIVE THANKS. Print your banner right here.
Then cut, punch holes, and string up with twine which can be purchased at a craft or hardware store for under $3 for 190 feet!

For the adult table:
I added a DIY table runner by cutting a length of burlap and writing "be thankful." on it with a thick, Sharpie marker.

Plus, I used Michael's mobile app when purchasing the roll of burlap and saved 40%, making the 18 ft. roll less than $9... I'm thankful for that!

Each place setting contains a gold charger from the Dollar Tree, a white plate, silverware, and a leaf namecard, all tied with a scrap of burlap. Gather your leaves from a live tree only a few days beforehand, or they'll be crunchy by Thanksgiving day.

For the centerpiece, it's always great if you can use what you already have at home. I had a gold platter, but any platter or tray would work.  Fill the platter with moss, leaves, pinecones, antlers, or anything that has a natural, organic feel.  To give your centerpiece some real height, add a Thanksgiving Tree.  You can print off the leaf templates right here.  Print plenty of copies, cut out the leaves, string each with twine, and place in a bowl on the table.  Encourage your guests to write on as many as they'd like.  These will be cherished items you'll save (and use) year after year.

Lastly, candles are an inexpensive way to brighten your table. Use as many or as few as you like.  We wrapped each with a leaf and tied it with twine.

For the kids' table:
Instead of a table cloth, use brown kraft or butcher paper, and the kids will be able to draw on it during dinner. Remember how much you loved going to the Macaroni Grill as a kid because you could draw on the table? Loved that!

Rather than fancy plates and glasses, I like to use paper plates and cups for the kids. You can find them in a variety of colors at any party supply store.

Delight your smallest guests with a pinecone turkey that has crayon feathers. Print the template for your turkeys right here.  Then cut and hot glue the turkey to the pinecone. You could also use your turkey body as a napkin ring by taping a piece of pipe cleaner to the back and fanning out your napkin for the feathers.

Another idea is to affix rolled up coloring pages to your turkey body and place the crayons in a small cup. Simply tape each page at the bottom, and gather all of the pages together with a longer piece of tape streched around the bunch.

Plus, notice those cute water bottle labels? Print these right here. Cut each one, peel off the old label, and tape on the new one.  Now that's fun!

And last, but not least, let's not forgot the turkey. This little masterpiece from One Charming Party is merely a paper grocery bag turned inside out and two small, paper sandwich bags, all filled with popcorn! Super cute and affordable!

Download our complete Thanksgiving Collection which includes all the printables we've featured here today, plus an extra set of cupcake toppers for your dessert table. For best results, print them on cardstock. Enjoy!
