How to Raise a Confident Child

Self-Confidence Begins in the Home

A child’s sense of self is shaped by every interaction he or she has, but is shaped most powerfully by how they are loved and parented in their home.  How a child sees themselves will influence every aspect of their life from their education, relationships, and over-all well-being.  Life is about feeling good enough, competent, loved, successful and happy, and the outer world doesn’t always reflect this, so the unconditional love and acceptance at home is the catalyst for their greatness.

Is Your Child a Star?

Louisville’s Got Talent Auditions

What: Louisville’s Got Talent, a talent competition and showcase for Louisville youth, is gearing up for a second year following last year’s triumphant debut. Louisville’s Got Talent is for youth ages 7-18 who can sing, dance, act or play an instrument, or who have some other performing arts talent. It’s a unique opportunity for kids to showcase their performance skills, compete for cash prizes and entertain an audience in the Live Finale, which is judged by local celebrities, artistic professionals and a representative from Heyman Talent Agency
