What To Do This Weekend: Happy (Early) Halloween

If your kids just cannot wait to dress up and get their treats, there are lots of opportunities this weekend for early trick-or-treating. Here are a few places to check out for family-friendly Halloween fun:

  • The Dreams with Wings Jack O'Lantern Stroll at Slugger Field has all the fun of Halloween without the fright. Over 1,500 carved pumpkins light the night while you and your family trick-or-treat, play games, meet athletes, and see Louisville's largest pumpkin pie.
  • Fest-O-Ween at the Paddock Shops has something for everyone. Kids can dress up and trick-or-treat while you get the chance to do a little seasonal shopping.

Three more lucky winners will receive 4 tickets each to the Festival of Trees and Lights, Nov. 13-15 at Louisville Slugger Field. The event is hosted by the Children's Hospital Foundation and presented by Republic Bank.

• Miniature train display

And don't forget Scout Days! All Girl Scouts, Brownies, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are invited to attend the Festival of Trees & Lights with their troops, packs or families. All scouts in uniform receive an event patch for attending.

See Official Rules for details.
