It’s on the Calendar.
My resolution is to start scheduling. Literally, I’m going to write things with a lead pencil, instead of a stylus, on a real-life, go-on-the-refrigerator, can’t be accessed from “the cloud”, paper calendar. I could put it on the computer on a Google calendar, but it’s much more likely to happen if it’s tangible and “in my face,” and I see it every time I go in the kitchen. So, here are some things that are going on my 2012 schedule:
-a weekly family night (a special book, puzzle, game, craft, or Wii game)
-a weekly meal plan (plan actual dinners ahead of time to avoid the “What in the world are we going to have for dinner tonight?” question that I often ask at 5pm)
-a weekly organizing project (closet, junk drawer, pantry, garage, etc. Just think… at the end of the year, 52 things will have been organized!)
-a monthly family movie night (at the movies or a Redbox rental)
What are you putting on your 2012 calendar? Share some of your 2012 resolutions.
