Today, we have Tara Brinkmoeller, Director of Public Affairs and Communications for the Home Builders Association of Louisville, sharing some details about the Home, Garden and Remodeling Show presented by Window World that is being held in the South Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center, March 2nd- 4th.
What should we expect to see at the show?
The fun begins at our entrance with one of the most unique garden areas you will have ever seen – that’s because it’s made completely of balloons. We will also have 14 live landscaped garden and hardscape areas for you to enjoy.
You’ll also see hundreds of local businesses displaying the latest and greatest in home improvement products and services. You can participate in free seminars about home improvements, home organization, container gardening and more that will run multiple times throughout the weekend.
We’re taking care of the whole family this year by offering seminars related to pets and pet training, as well as vendors with pet-specific products and services.
Are there any activities our kids will enjoy while we're there?
Since kids 15 and younger attend free with an adult, we encourage the whole family to attend! You and your kids will love the Disc-Connected K-9 Frisbee Dogs that perform on the Logan Lavelle Hunt Disc-Connected K-9’s Stage. These acrobatic and athletic dogs will amaze you with their hi-energy tricks and gravity-defying leaps. Kids can also play in the Fire Safety House and will enjoy our fun, free photo booths sponsored by Boland Maloney Lumber.
Is this show for me even if I don't plan on remodeling my home right now?
It’s always fun to see what’s new in the home products market, and you never know when you may need the name of a good home improvement specialist! Plus, we’ll have the Window World Cares Orange County Choppers, NASCAR and Indy Stock Car on display, and you have the chance to meet driver John Andretti on Saturday, March 3rd.
