In Time for Mother’s Day

With the names and birthstones of all three of my children on it, this bracelet is one of my most precious pieces of jewelry.  The coolest part about this bracelet, though, is how it was given to me...
... I received it at three different times during my life; however, it was different each time.  The first time I received it was on the day my older son was born.  At that point, it had one strand and said only, “Grant.”  The second time was at the birth of my younger son.  At that point, a second strand with Dane’s name had been added to it.  The third time, as you can probably guess, was on the day my daughter, Blair, was born, at which point the final strand had been added.

Somehow my mom managed to get this bracelet ready each time without my ever knowing it.  It was so thoughtful and will always be one of the sweetest gifts I’ve ever received. 

Since Mother’s Day is a few weeks away, now is the perfect time to plan out a super-special gift for the mom in your life.  This Mother’s Bracelet came from A Mother’s Touch on Shelbyville Rd., in Louisville, KY.  Even though I didn’t receive mine on Mother’s Day, it seemed like I did, as I celebrate each one of my children’s birthdays as a Mother’s Day, too!
