National Jug Band Jubilee- Saturday, September 15 at Brown-Forman Amphitheater at the Louisville Waterfront Park, noon-11pm; FREE admission;lots of live entertainment, vendors, and workshops

Lanesville Heritage Weekend- September 14-16 in Lanesville, IN near Lanesville High School; FREE admission & FREE parking; “see how our forefathers lived one hundred years ago or more”; enjoy  demonstrations from blacksmiths, sorghum cooking, kane preparation, goat milking, and much, much more!

Roots & Shoots Kentucky Day of Peace- Sunday, September 16 at Louisville Waterfront Park, noon-5pm; FREE public event; your family will enjoy a peace dove parade, kids crafts & activities, entertainment, and presentations from local humanitarian and environmental organizations
