Happy Thanksgiving

This might sound corny, but I promise you won’t be sorry if you do this--

After everyone gets seated around your Thanksgiving table, tell them that you’re starting a new tradition this year (if you don’t already do this) before everyone digs in, and you want each person to say something that they are thankful for.

Don’t give them the option to “pass” on this opportunity; just “skip” them until they have figured out something to say.

…or if you think your family will be too shy to say it out loud...
...let them just write it anonymously.

Grab a tree branch from the yard, stick it in pot, and create a “Thanksgiving Tree.”  Just cut leaves out of construction paper, have family members write what their thankful for on them, and hang on them on the branch.

It’s important to have a grateful heart and to recognize our blessings, however big or small they might be.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Today’s Family Every Day! We’re thankful for YOU!
