The final weekend before Christmas is here! If your schedule isn’t already filled with last minute shopping, holiday baking, and gift-wrapping, there are a few events around town that are perfectly “holiday.” Some are free, and some are low-cost. Here’s the weekend, holiday round-up:
Light Up Louisville- 40 Nights of Lights- Running through December 31, between Fourth Street and the Galt House Hotel; synchronized light show starting at 6pm; Ice skating at Fourth Street Live! (Hours of Operation: Nov 24 - Dec 28. Sun 11:30 AM - 8 PM, Mon-Thu 11:30 AM - 9 PM, Fri and Sat 11:30 AM - Midnight. $5 an hour for adults, $3 an hour for children under 18. Day passes available for $10 per person, or buy a season pass for $40! Skate rental available for $2)
Santa’s Wonderland- now through December 24 at Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville, IN; FREE photo with Santa and much more; check the website for complete details and activity schedule
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party- Saturday, December 22 at the Jeffersonville, IN, Ice Skating Rink.;$2 off admission if you wear an “ugly” Christmas sweater; so, grab your family and friends for a group rate and enjoy; open 12pm-10pm Fridays & Saturdays, 12pm-9pm Sundays;
$8 per personChristmas at The Galt House- Now through January 2; FREE child’s KaLightoscope Christmas ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket

Lights Under Louisville- at the Louisville Mega Cavern; open now through December 30; if you haven’t taken the family to experience this, yet, this weekend would be perfect; it really is a wonderful , unique, light display in a perfect setting; $25 for a car, truck, suv, or minivan; so, load up the family for an exciting drive through a winter wonderland of themed, light displays
