A Father-Daughter Interview
Scott Beyl, interviewed by his daughter, Katie, a fourth-grader at St. Paul School, Sellersburg, IN. This dad talks family, work, and… Sting?
Katie: When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grow up?
Scott: A baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds.
Katie: What is it like to be...
...a nurse anesthetist?
Scott: It is very rewarding.
Katie: What is it like having 3 kids?
Scott: Chaotic, challenging and expensive! But I wouldn’t change a thing. I am very blessed.
Katie: Did you have a nickname in high school?
Scott: Yes, Sting (because I had a spiky haircut like him not because I could sing).
Katie: Who is your favorite child?
Scott: You are, of course (wink, wink). Actually you, Maddie, and Jack are all my favorites-just like the book we used to read when I was in anesthesia school in Texas.
