DIY Resin Pendant

If you picked up a copy of the June/July issue of Today’s Family, you saw that our DIY was how to make a resin pendant using a roadmap and a few supplies from Dee’s.  It’s a super easy project with fantastic results!

Plus, save a little money by using the Dee’s coupon in the magazine (pg 39) when you purchase your supplies!

In the article, we showed how you put a piece of a road map into your pendant, but that’s not all you can do with this fun project.  Using the same instructions, you can replace the road map with...
...a photo, a page from a magazine, a dictionary word, a handwritten letter, scrapbook paper, or even fabric. Remember, if it’s something that you don’t want to cut, just use a copier and make a duplicate of your prized memento and use that for your project.

We made a bracelet using some vintage fabric and a ball chain (from Dee's).  If you’ve never worked with a ball chain, you will love it.  You can cut your chain to any length using kitchen scissors.

Isn’t that darling?!  What fun item will you use to make your resin pendant?
