Are You Santa?

There eventually comes a point in a parent's life where that question will be asked.  Are you Santa?

What do you say?  You weren't prepared to answer that on the ride home from school today because sweet little Sally told your child that Santa wasn't real while they were on the playground this afternoon.


Do you answer in complete truth, or do you fumble through a ridiculous answer in order to keep up what seems like a ruse?

Here's your answer:  Santa is magic and happiness and love, and he uses lots of people to keep up the joy of the Christmas season.  Santa enlists the help of moms and dads everywhere to make the impossible job on Christmas Eve possible.  Truth.

It's all about believing in something you can't see.  Teaching your children to have faith is an important lesson at any age.
