Consider starting a garden with your family Louisville has many garden plots. For example, The Tom Sawyer Community Gardens has 155 garden plots. These gardens are available to the public at a cost of $32 per plot for the season. Gardening is an excellent way for exercise, eating healthy, socializing, and learning. Early Wildflower Hike The warm days of spring herald the emergence of our earliest wildflowers. Join Bernheim in an Early Wildflower Hike on Saturday, March 28 from 2 – 3:30 p.m. to watch the forest floor come alive with color as this age-old renewal signals the arrival of spring weather.
