My three kiddos love anything outside...swimming, sports, riding bikes. They also love that they get to stay up late(r). We also like to try to take several day type trips throughout the summer and Holiday World would be PERFECT!!!
My son likes to sleep, play video games, and eat everything he can get his hands on. A trip to Holiday World would be an awesome way to get him out of the house and away from the Xbox.
My one doesn't get a summer break since she has ABA therapy but we like to visit the lake and go boating. Also love making smores at the firepit. This year will be our first trip with them to Holiday World.
They always like a good trip to go fishing with their grandpa, swim, and splash around in a pool or sprinkler... They know they are too little, but they look forward to riding bigger rides like the bigger roller coasters like the adults do. All in all they enjoy family time with everyone being able to hang out and play.
They LOVE to have water balloon fights!! They also like to set up their own little "entrepreneur stand" where they sell kool-aid, cookies, bracelets and other handmade items.
We go exploring state parks that are a day's drive or less. We do this at least once a week in the summertime. Sometimes we camp out, which they really love. My teens love going to amusements parks, but my youngest two can only remember going to a fair. And I'm hoping this is the year to introduce them to Holiday World. I love that there is free parking, drink refills, and parking. Plus cleanest park in the world. ( Really it has won this awards lol)
They want summer to be fun so we have a variety of activies we participate in such as camping, fishing, boating, skating, going to amusement parks, state parks, caves. They just want to enjoy their summer and so do I.
I don't have kids, but my brothers and I love to make short films in the summer time. We also love to get our adrenaline pumping on some roller coasters!
A mom of three, next weekend will be very special for us as two of our children have very special events. On May 16, we will watch our 18 year old walk across the stage for her high school graduation, and then on May 18, our son will turn 9! My husband and I would love to take our family to Holiday World and Splashing Safari on May 17th to celebrate them both. Currently on unemployment, it's going to be a stretch, but being blessed with tickets would definitely help make it happen for us! Thank you for the opportunity, it will be our first visit to the park if we win!
