What To Do This Weekend: Jump Around!

Have a Great Family Weekend!

There's no shortage of fun activities for the whole family this weekend in Louisville!

  • Enjoy a drive-in type experience on the river at the Jeffersonville Riverstage Twilight Cinema movie series. This weekend's feature film is Paddington. The event is free and starts at 7:30pm with the film showing at dark. Kids can be entertained by the inflatables, games, face painting, and other treasures before the film starts.

      • Enjoy the outdoor farm life for a night of music at Foxhollow Farm in Crestwood. As part of their Sunset Concert Series families can enjoy local food trucks and refreshments on top of great local music. This week's musical guests include A Lion Named Roar and Howell Dawdy. Tickets are $10 and children under 12 get in free.

      • Take advantage of local produce at the Douglass Loop Farmers Market . Open every Saturday from 10-2 pm, Douglass Loop is held at Douglass Boulevard Christian Church creating a great family atmosphere. Pick up groceries for the week from their many vendors selling everything from fresh meat to vegetables, fruits, breads, jellies and jams.

      • Head out to Jeffersontown for a night of bouncing fun at Sky Zone Trampoline Park. Every Friday from 9- 11 pm all ages are welcome for a 120 minutes of jump time. The $15 ticket includes access to open jump, Foam Zone, Ultimate Dodgeball, and a much needed drink after.

      • Get the whole family up and moving for a non-traditional form of exercise: ice skating. Iceland Sports Complex offers public skating every Saturday from 11-2 pm. Admission is $6 and rentals are $2, but learning to land that jump or making it around the rink without falling is priceless. This is also a great activity to stay active indoors from all the rain we can't seem to escape.
      • Bring out your inner Picasso for a night of canvas painting at Whet Your Palette at The Art House in Anchorage. All canvases are half off every Saturday night from 6-8 pm.
