What To Do This Weekend: Find the Perfect Pumpkin!



As the leaves change and the temperature cools, it feels like fall has finally made its way to Kentuckiana. Here are a few weekend activities to welcome in the new season:

  • The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular has returned to Iroquois Park! Walk along the 1,500-ft. trail lit with over 5,000 glowing pumpkins, each carved into amazing works of art.
There's so many great activities happening this weekend -- keep reading for more!
  • StageOne Family Theater presents Roald Dahl's classic, "The Big Friendly Giant" -- or BFG for short. This production features the talents of the Squallis Puppeteers, and is sure to be an adventure the whole family can enjoy!
  • Vanessa Williams joins the Louisville Orchestra this Saturday, performing hit songs such as "Colors of the Wind" and "Stormy Weather."
  • Experience the wonders of the night sky this Saturday at Bernheim Forest's Fall Star Stories and Sky Watch.
  • The booths are open at this year's Harvest Homecoming Festival in New Albany! There's something to be found for the whole family, whether it be games, food or local crafts.
  • World's Largest Halloween Party continues on at the Louisville Zoo -- be seen and not scared at this wonderland of family fun!
