If your kids just cannot wait to dress up and get their treats, there are lots of opportunities this weekend for early trick-or-treating. Here are a few places to check out for family-friendly Halloween fun:
- The Dreams with Wings Jack O'Lantern Stroll at Slugger Field has all the fun of Halloween without the fright. Over 1,500 carved pumpkins light the night while you and your family trick-or-treat, play games, meet athletes, and see Louisville's largest pumpkin pie.
- Fest-O-Ween at the Paddock Shops has something for everyone. Kids can dress up and trick-or-treat while you get the chance to do a little seasonal shopping.
- St. Matthews is hosting a family-friendly Halloween celebration in Brown Park -- complete with bouncy houses, hayrides, games, and over 50 trick-or-treat stations.
- Enjoy an evening of music and myth at the Corn Island Storytelling Festival.
- Pumpkinfest in Jeffersontown is a great alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Bring your dressed up little ones to Gaslight Square for some day-time Halloween fun!
- For those across the river, check out New Albany's Trunk or Treat at the Riverfront Amphitheater!
- Be seen and not scared as the World's Largest Halloween Party continues at the Louisville Zoo.
- Over 5,000 glowing pumpkins await you at the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular.
