Libraries provide a host of programming and services created with teens in mind.
Here are just a few offerings:
- Take ACT Prep Classes and free online practice tests for the ACT and SAT.
- Enjoy activities like the Art Club, Anime Club, Board Gaming, “Star Wars” Party, and Volunteer Days, just to name a few.
- Three libraries also have dedicated Teen Library Centers: The Underground (Main Library); The Outpost (Highlands/Shelby Park); and The Loft (Bon Air Library).
- Get a Student Power Plus library card! These cards provide access to the library and serve as a student id card and TARC discount card. With it, students can get homework help, download audio books from NetLibrary, use library computers, and more. The calendar provides the specific branch, day, and time for each event.
