The Kentucky State Fair winds down this weekend, so if you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to take your family by Sunday. Here's a list of other fun things to try this weekend:
- Take your family to experience the small town feel of Sellersburg Celebrates. Or for the art lovers, visit the 26th annual Art in Speed Park Fine Art Fair, also in Sellersburg, Indiana.
- Join the Global Game Changers at the Muhammad Ali Center for the 3rd annual Discover Your Superpower event — a free event with face painting, cape making, and more — that will empower kids ages 4-12 to discover their superpower to make the world a better a place.
- Have a budding baker in the family? Take the class at Turnip the Beet and learn how to master the macaron, the "most difficult cookie."
- Come down to the Great Lawn at Louisville Waterfront Park for Red Bull Flugtag, and watch teams pilot their home-made flying machines off a 30-foot high flight deck in hopes of soaring into the wild blue yonder!
- Celebrate unity, culture, art and history at the African Heritage Festival.
- Listen and dance to The Juice Box Heroes at the Jeffersonville (Indiana) Riverstage. The Jeffersonville High School Chamber Choir will be joining the group for a music montage.
