What To Do This Weekend

This weekend, experience fall beauty as a family at outdoor festivals, catch an NBA basketball game, meet your kids' favorite TV characters, get up close with creepy bugs, and more.

Check out these great weekend options for family fun:

  • Visit Bernheim's ColorFest, an annual fall festival where families can test their skills at the pumpkin launch, navigate a hay maze, make mud pies, and enjoy a hayride. Other highlights include live music, hands-on nature activities, unique local foods, and Kentucky arts and craft vendors.

  • Take your family to experience the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, which continues through November 6 in Iroquois Park and features 5,000 carved pumpkins lining a ¼-mile walking trail, which is illuminated at night.

  • Take the kids to see the spider house, creepy bugs, and more at Creepy Things at Idlewild Butterfly Farm.

  • The 7th Annual Mullberry Hill Fall Festival at George Rogers Clark Park offers a chili cook-off, a children and pets costume parade, in addition to pumpkin and face painting, door prizes, and more.

Have a great weekend!
