What To Do This Weekend

Enjoy some wonderful ways to celebrate the holiday season with your family this weekend, experiencing beautiful lights, ice skating, seasonal music, and more.

Check out the events below:

  • Take your family to the 36th annual Light Up Louisville, which serves as a kickoff celebration to Louisville's Holiday in the City. Attend the Lots of Lights Holiday Parade and see Santa arrive at the end!

  • Also, bundle up and take your family to the Run, Run Rudolph 5K, a kick-off activity of Light Up Louisville (see above).

  • Kick off the holiday season at Light Up Jeffersonville in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The tree will be lit at a new location this year — Big 4 Station. Enjoy music, dancing, refreshments, a visit from Santa, and free trolley rides to the Jeffersonville Ice Rink (see below).

  • Join the Louisville Orchestra for Pops: Cirque Musica Holiday Spectacular, where aerialists will soar to holiday music over the Louisville Orchestra on the Whitney Hall stage. A kid-sized show will also be offered as part of the LO Family Series.

  • Celebrate Small Business Saturday in New Albany, Indiana, by taking the 7th Annual Holiday Jingle Walk, with a tree lighting ceremony following in Bicentennial Park.

Have a great weekend!
