Support for Local Moms

Being a mom is hard work. So, it is always good to find other moms with whom you can share war stories and show battle scars. Here are just some of the many local groups that offer support for moms:

The Birth Care Network offers a Moms Group that meets the third Tuesday of each month at Babyology at 3934 Dutchman’s Lane from 10:00am-12:00pm. Moms and their young children are welcome.
Mama’s Hip at 1559 Bardstown Road hosts a New Moms Group every Monday and Wednesday from 12:00-2:00, as well as an all-age playgroup on Thursdays at 12:00pm and Fridays at 11:00am.
There are three local MOMS Club chapters. The Louisville East chapter meets the second Monday of every month (10:00am) at Ascension Lutheran Church. The Oldham County MOMS Club also meets the second Monday of every month (9:45am) at St. James in PeeWee Valley. The Southeast MOMS Club meets the first Monday of every month at Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church. All chapters offer playgroups, MOMS Nite Out events, and community service opportunities.
Members of the Mother’s Center of Louisville meet at Hurstbourne Baptist Church once a week for multi-age playgroups. There are also two or three other weekly activities planned for moms and children.
