Have a Great Weekend!

If you’re a Southern Indiana family, then today’s school day will be your children’s last one for a whole week; so, jump up and down, and let the fun begin!  However, the rest of you will have to wait until April for Spring Break celebrations, but there’s always fun to be had on the weekend no matter what time of year.  So, here’s what’s happening this weekend around town:

Start your weekend with a unique experience for the whole family (plus, it’s free!) on Saturday, March 24, at the 1st Annual Vegetarian Tasting Fair at Rainbow Blossom at 3738 Lexington Road from noon until 4pm.

Then you and the family can drive on over to the Louisville Water Tower on River Road and get your Draw On! on Saturday, March 24, from noon –4pm, with the Louisville Visual Arts Association and local artist Georgia Newsom to help create a collaborative abstract marker illustration. Oh, plus it’s free! Just reserve your spot here on their facebook page or by calling the LVAA at 502.896.2146 (ext. 100).

… or you could take your kids “out to the ballgame,” for free on Saturday, March 24, for a 1pm game at Jim Patterson Stadium, and cheer on your University of  Louisville Cardinals baseball team as they compete against Cincinnati.  Plus, wear any Louisville hat and receive a voucher for a free 32oz tub of popcorn.
