Free Learn-to-Sail Clinic-Cox Park,  Saturday, June 9, 1-5pm

Sailing is a great youth and adult sport. Once learned, it lasts a lifetime. The Free Learn-to-Sail Clinic introduces youth from 10 to 17 and adults from 18 to infinity to sailing. There are two youth clinics from 1 to 3 and 3 to 5; one adult clinic from 1 to 4. Each clinic has a land session where the basics of sailing are presented and an on the water session where every goes sailing on the Ohio for about an hour.

Founder's Day Celebration- Frazier History Museum, Saturday, June 9, 10 am- 4pm

The Frazier Museum’s annual Founder’s Day celebration will be held early this year in conjunction with our mysterious and exciting “Samurai” exhibition. In addition to free museum access, out on the street guests of all ages will enjoy food, inflatable jousting, martial arts and Japanese calligraphy demonstrations, a deejay and karaoke, Japanese airbrush tattoos, educational crafts and exciting performances by the museum’s costumed interpreters– all with a Japanese flair! Inside, party-goers will create samurai helmets and face masks, enjoy Japanese snacks and have a blast in our inflatable Sumo wrestling ring.

Fifth Third Bank Curious Kids Days- Fourth Street Live, Saturday, June 9, 11am-3pm; This month’s theme is “Curious About Louisville, Kentucky and Fourth of July”; FREE and OPEN TO ALL AGES; live music, inflatables, arts and crafts, prizes, and more!
