Corn Island Storytelling Fest- Friday, October 12, 6pm in the Humanities Quad at the University of Louisville Belknap Campus; FREE, public event with pumpkin painting, tombstone decorating, and ghost stories (beginning at 7pm) told by internationally known guests.

Derby City Pediatric Dentistry Fall Festival- Saturday, October 13, 1-4pm at Derby City Pediatric Dentistry; FREE, public event with bounce house, duck pond, face painting, and more; plus, you can enter to win a Kindle Fire; RSVP to 502.254.6097

Family Fun Workshop- Saturday, October 13, 12-3pm at the Harvest Homecoming Kids’ Tent (admission to this tent is FREE); kids will paint their own mini pumpkin; no pre-registration required; this event is presented by the Carnegie Center for Art & History

Fall festival; opening ceremonies include a parade featuring over 200 units at 12:00 noon on October 6. Crafts/Food Booths & Farmer’s Market will occur daily from October 11-14.

Caufield's Halloween Parade
A fun parade full of interesting costumes and lots of tossed candy - bring a bag for the kids!
Where: Begins on Bardstown Road at Rosewood Avenue and travels North ending at Baxter and Lexington Road.

Southwest Fall Festival
The Southwest Fall Festival is a festival at Sun Valley Park off Bethany Lane. It is a full day of free activities and family fun including a Car and Motorcycle Show, Teen City, a Men’s Tent, Toddler Town, a Senior Tent, and Kid’s City. A Pancake Breakfast is served from 8AM-11AM at the Sun Valley Community Center. The Louisville Crashers will be playing some of your favorite hits throughout the day!

Halloween Party & Safety Festival
Free community event for children. Activities include: Fire Safety House, Electrical Safety Demonstration, Stranger Danger and Personal Safety Demonstrations, Child Fingerprinting, Bouncies, Police-Fire-EMS Vehicles, Costume Contests, & TRICK-OR-TREATING!

Louisville 1st Annual Fall Festival & Free Kids Fair
The 8th Annual Louisville First Fall Festival & Free Kids Fair in Louisville, Kentucky at the Louisville 1st Church, 2988 Newburg Road. Come and enjoy the delights of autumn. Bring the whole family for this special, FREE event! It’s a great way to enjoy the season with food, fun, games, prizes, and friends! Kids’ Fair has become an annual event for the whole community. Some highlights include: hay & tractor rides, giant inflatable game booths, food & craft booths, face painting, petting zoo, scavenger hunt and music.
