Have a Fun Weekend!


From ice skating to Christmas light displays on both sides of the river, there is lots of fun to be had all over Kentuckiana this weekend!  Enjoy!

Jeffersonville’s Holiday Happenings- Saturday, December 1: cookie stroll at 3pm on Spring Street (enjoy holiday cookies provided by Jeffersonville merchants), parade at 5pm (on Spring Street),  Light Up at 5:30pm (Warder Park with music, dancing, refreshments, Santa, & FREE trolley rides!)

Light Up Louisville- 40 Nights of Lights- Running through December 31, between Fourth Street and the Galt House Hotel; synchronized light show starting at 6pm; FREE musical performances on Saturdays in December (Dec 1, 8, & 15) starting at 5:30pm;
Ice skating at Fourth Street Live! (Hours of Operation: Nov 24 - Dec 28. Sun 11:30 AM - 8 PM, Mon-Thu 11:30 AM - 9 PM, Fri and Sat 11:30 AM - Midnight. $5 an hour for adults, $3 an hour for children under 18. Day passes available for $10 per person, or buy a season pass for $40! Skate rental available for $2)

Christmas at The Galt House- Now through January 2; FREE child’s KaLightoscope Christmas ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket

Santa Claus Christmas Celebration starts this weekend in Santa Claus, IN, America’s Christmas Hometown (near Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari)
  • Santa Claus himself will stamp and mail the first letter of the Christmas season- Saturday, December 1, 9am at the Santa Claus Post Office
  • Chestnut Roasting- Saturdays through December 22, 6-8pm; Santa’s Candy Castle; FREE event
  • Santa Claus Land of Lights-  1.2 mile Family Christmas Light Adventure inside Lake Rudolph Campground -$15 ($4 off coupons can be found at the Santa Claus McDonald’s)
