Happy Weekend!

Since you'll probably still be putting together Christmas gifts and eating leftovers this weekend, we thought we'd give you a few New Year's Eve celebration ideas- it's on Tuesday!!! Check out the events calendar for the Louisville Free Public Library. There are plenty of fun things happening at branches all over town through the new year.

  • Noon Year's Celebration at the Kentucky Science Center- December 31-January 1, 11 am-4 pm. FREE with admission. Don’t let superstitions get in the way of ringing in the New Year with a bang, pop and fizz! Explore the science behind some common (and not so common) New Year’s traditions!
  • New Year’s Eve Slumber Party at All About Kids (Louisville location) Must register ahead of time.
  • Kentucky Flea Market New Year's Spectacular

Oh, and we've got you covered if you're throwing a New Year's Eve shindig at your home. Check out the posts here and here for fun ideas YOU can do.
